This two-tone checkered design is inspired by traditional Katazome stencil practices. This fully reversible pattern in black and cream embraces the unpredictable rhythm of daily use. The generous double yarn is gratifyingly durable and maximizes comfort. This set absorbs and dries with ease thanks to the sumptuous surface area that forms an exceptionally even pile.

INSIDE THE ARCHIVE

Alma draws from Japanese katazome, a stencil-dyeing tradition dating to the 12th century and often rendered in indigo. Its geometric repeat references a grid-like katazome print from a rare print book, reinterpreted here in a contemporary form.
